Accordingly, the necessary procedures are taken to close the deceased’s account and ensure that it is subject to the Mazaya program, and to claim the amount from the insurance company. It is necessary to contact the family of the deceased directly to obtain the necessary papers and inform them of the amount that the insurance company will pay.
The same ruling applies in the event of obtaining death information through a death certificate, inheritance document, or any official information indicating that the death has occurred. Mazaya is an optional service for bank customers. Customers who do not wish to subscribe must sign a letter stating so.
